Can Canada sell oil and gas to Canadians cheaper and still make a profit?

Canada make it oil and gas. Why can't Canadian company sell the gas and oil cheaper to Canadians, like other rich oil country do for their own people, and sell the rest to the other country at world prices. Do the oil companys need all that money? Why can't they make life in Canada better for Canadains and ower familys! I ask why not?Can Canada sell oil and gas to Canadians cheaper and still make a profit?
Canadians benifit from all the oil sold.It belongs to the people of Canada.Oil companies have to pay the government for it.Without those oil revenues we would be paying a lot more taxes.The government could subidize the canadian gas companies and make fuel cheaper,but you will still and up paying for it in your taxes.It`s better to leave the free market alone.This way the people who use it, pays for it.If you do not like the price do not buy it.Can Canada sell oil and gas to Canadians cheaper and still make a profit?

Its called a free market, not a welfare state. One way the companies could make it cheaper for Canadians would be to decrease oil taxes. There is a big diffrence between a corporations profit and profit margin, two points to ponder if you know the difference.
